I have seen EFI cars converted to carburetors and I believe the origional EFI fuel pump was used. What did they use to convert the high EFI fuel pressure to something that is reasonable for a carburetor?

Since the above is possible and has been done it would seem the reverse situation could be done. And that is use an electric EFI fuel pump in a car that was origionally built with a carburetor. Most of the EFI fuel pumps seem to have high delivery and most seem small enough to slip inside the older cars fuel tanks. All you would have to do is use the fuel pickup unit to support the fuel pump and use a regulator to reduce the pressure to somethin reasonable.

Has anyone here successfully done this?

Thank,

Roger
