Looking at recommendations for replacement oil pump. The advice I had is from back in the day and was to use a high volume. Engine is a 440, 0.030 over. 12:1 CR with TRW pistons. Main bearings are half groove. Cam tops out at 6000 rpm. Have 8 quart pan for it. I have had high volume pumps on engines in the past with no ill effects. I am just not sure what the current thinking is now days. Any recommendations on a pump?
