If your worried, I would clean it, charge it, and pull the cables off. If its dead in 3-4 month,s of warm temps, it was no good anyways. They sit around alot longer than that before being bought as new. BTW, I have 3 HF float chargers, The 1st one died after 6yrs of use, I lost $4.99 on that one!
