Hey thanks Doc, I have a SM & was thinking I wanted to locate a dual port to better my mileage but now I'll forget about that & finding (smelled the gas) & fixing the pinhole leak in my line halfway back to the tank where the Adel clamp rubbed a hole in it has done wonders for my mileage. I dont get frustrated anymore (at least w car probs) but I for the life of me couldn't figure out the prob as the 318, nothing appeared to b out of whack (plugs/wires good, no apparent misfire, eddy 1406 somewhat lean, timing good) the only thing I could come up w was maybe a lean misfire & was wanting to get an Innovate LM-1 to dial it all in but even a misfire could not explain how fast the needle was dropping (and a locked gas cap has always been on there)
