That is cool! Tell me more about it! How good does it run?

Internally stock except for a .060 overbore from who knows how long ago. Edmunds finned aluminum head I picked up at Hershey in the early 90's for $150 (don't expect to get one that cheap today, last one I saw on ebay sold for over $1000). Offy dual-carb intake (still available new from various vendors). Dual carbs/adaptors/air cleaners/linkage kit from Langdon's Stovebolt. Carbs are Holley/Webers that were OEM for a Ford Fiesta. Had to remove one of the three return springs on each carb to get the throttle effort right (way too stiff before). Single 2" exhaust with a 30" Smittie glasspack. Fluid drive converted to straight 3-speed stick and conventional clutch. Original 3.90 gears.

How does it run? What I've done is mostly for looks, but the dual carbs did perk it up - more than I expected. Dual exhaust would probably help, too. Runs good for what it is, but any new four-cylinder crackerbox will outrun it.
