I have no answer in fact, but as long as you have them in hand, can't you just test fit 'em? Do they have to be 360? Assuming they are different, they're are a lot of 318's in those cars.

the exhaust manifolds on the 80's M bodies with 318's had 360 sized ports.

headman & summit small block headers work very well, too

he's on a tight tight budget, no headers for now, but I have lots of stock parts to help him out with that are free.

Two questions for you:

1) do you know approx when the 318 exhaust manifolds became interchangeable with the 360s? His 318 is a 1980 model

2) for my own information, which aftermarket sb headers fit on an F/M/J body? I assume B body? Or do they sell specific ones for the F/M/J?

any generic SB header will work. most are designed to fit for A/B/E/F/M/J...summits are $100.

dunno on exact date, but my '86 5th manis have 360 sized exhaust port...want 'em?

Dulcich did a test with a 300HP crate motor. there was ~5hp difference on it going from A body 318 manis to the high flow 340 manifolds, and ~20hp/20tq increase going to 1 5/8" long tube headers....$100 for 20hp/tq? that's the cheapest power you can buy.
