The type of limited slip used may have some effect on corner entry. If it's really tight it MAY cause some understeer or push. Once you go to power the only thing that matters is how tight & abruptly it locks up. Torsion [ gear type ] limited slips are supposed to be a little smoother in locking up. They also generate quite a bit of heat when abused. For the type of driving you're describing I doubt that the type of limited slip you choose will make any real difference.
