I am gapping my rings tommorow (sealed power moly rings) and opened the box to find the lousy instruction sheet says nothing about ring gaps. This is an engine that will see N/A almost all the time, with nitrous use every once in a while. Here is the combo...will see 175 shot of spray at most

1991 LA 360 shortblock bone stock rotating assembly (factory dished)...
62cc RHS heads as prepped by Brian at IMM engines for a total compression of (hoping) 9:1-9.5:1
mopar thin 0.024-0.028 compressed thickness head gaskets
Cam is a custom hydraulic roller from Brian at IMM to go along with the RHS heads
230/230 at .50 duraiton
576/576 lift
105LSA with 4-5 degrees advance ground in

Hughes 1.6 ratio rockers and shafts
RPM air gap intake with a 750HP
1-5/8 headers into a 3" exhaust

I have read on the total seal site (Sealed power site sucks! just like their instructions!) that rule of thumb is

bore x 0.006 for shots under 150
bore x 0.008 for shots over 150
min .015" for the oil ring rail

Im also assuming that both compression rings should be gapped exactly the same???

Any info would be greatly appreciated since tommorow ive got a full day in the shop to work on this!

Thanks!
