I've had good luck gluing cork gaskets to both sides of the windage tray like Dirtybee and others have indicated...being careful not to over-torque the nuts. In fact, I use flat washers and nylock stainless steel nuts on the studs so the nuts won't loosen at the low torque and they look good too! I would install the Fel-Pro fiber steel gaskets dry on ether side of the windage tray. Any nuts will do, the steel inserts in the gaskets prevent over-torqueing.

Not to hyjack the thread but what gasket or sealer, if any, do you guys put between the girdle and the block? Thanks!
