& keep slowing the idle speed to where you want it as you are bumping the timing. Then w that (1) initial figure in hand shorten the slots to get (2) 35 total (SB) w vac adv unhooked/capped for intial and total setting then w those set more on to (3) springs then (4) hookup/adj vac adv.
