i've run mine for about 18-24 months. running supplied locks/retainers springs after checking.i use a purple 509 cam. machined to 78cc chamber and pocket ported. i also had to clearance for 3/8 smith brothers pushrods i used cometic gaskets from Don Gould work great daily driven and regularly raced on pump gas
