Me too, I was going to build a very high CR 318 (plus the carb mods) to get max benefit from it as E85 was ~$2 a gal then it started to rise dramatically. I still would if it would be cost effective over a reasonable period of time as my DD current 318 is tired/leaky. As said the BTU content is way less than gas. Google it.




With food commodities already at high prices, then this latest snow storm look for e85 price to rise some more. If you're doing it for cost it's probably not worth the effort. If you want it so you can run high CR then that's another.
