I think the opening statement was missed...

"Here is a guide to tune six packs for street engines. Revised 01-2011"

Many six pak and 4bbl cars run like pigs because the basics as outlined in the document were not followed.

Please do not confuse the masses. If you want to provide me with tuning info for race cars I will be more than happy to write it up. The guide is not intended for race cars that get driven on the street. Real Race cars are a whole different application.

Cracking the throttle on any street setup to see if the end carbs open is not a legitimate test.

Running a locked out distributor is for race cars and does not belong on a street car.

Six paks do provide fuel economy. I get 16 mpg with my mild 416 six pak that puts 400hp at the rear wheels. Weighs 3450 with driver, 12.20-12.80@114 mph thru the traps...do the math
