Ok a few other questions. Been looking at some complete fuel system kits from summit and jegs and they seem pretty reasonable. Electric fuel pump, braided lines, fittings, etc. (the actual summit and jegs brand kits)
What exatcly does -6 and -8 mean or measure? Is that like 3/8 and 1/2? Are these kits worth while or overkill? Should I just replace my 5/16 with a 3/8 from like year one and splice in a electric pump? But by the time I do that it would have probably been just as easy to buy a kit. Sorry for the dumb questions just want to get this right the first time. Indy must be proud of that intake(kinda spendy compared to a rpm) j/k.Thanks

-6 (or dash 6) means 6/16,
-8 means 8/16 of an inch.
these are AN measurements (Army Navy stds). Outside diameter to the best of my knowledge.

the other guys will reply regarding appropriate sizing.
