What exatcly does -6 and -8 mean or measure? Is that like 3/8 and 1/2? Are these kits worth while or overkill? Should I just replace my 5/16 with a 3/8 from like year one and splice in a electric pump? But by the time I do that it would have probably been just as easy to buy a kit. Sorry for the dumb questions just want to get this right the first time. Indy must be proud of that intake(kinda spendy compared to a rpm) j/k.Thanks

-6 (or dash 6) means 6/16,
-8 means 8/16 of an inch.
these are AN measurements (Army Navy stds). Outside diameter to the best of my knowledge.
