I have the timing set at 10* BTDC and advance is at 34* yet when I back off the gas I get popping out both pipes and it seems I am getting a slight surge action while highway driving. I was told locally to retard the timing about five degrees, do you agree No,don't retard it.Check for a fluxuation in the distributer timing advance/retard,or a lean condition first.
