The problem with porting, is people WANT to see " pretty" when its done. Its usually finished much nicer than it has to be, because people want it all glamorous. Typically you have to spend an extra hour beautifying the porting jobs.

Whats funny, and you see it all over the internet is when people say: " that porting looks killer dude" and so forth. How can someone look at a picture of a port job and know that its done right? How does it flow, where does it flow, hows the low numbers, whats the velocity and so forth. Its just like the flow numbers game. People WANT big flow numbers. It sells product. People WANT pretty port jobs, its makes the customer happy.
Again , there is a lot more to it than smooth looking ports.
