I have noticed a small puddle from under my 4-speed trans (1970 Super Bee) for a little while now. The bottom of the trans case stays wet, though the fluid level seems ok still. I'm not sure exactly where the source of the leak is though.

When it was up on a hoist last weekend, it looked like it *might* be coming from the two bolts on the driver's side of the tranny case?? (I've attached a generic A-833 photo -- not my tranny - with those bolts circled).

Are these common or potential leak points? What are these bolts used for and how could a leak be stopped at this part, if in fact this is the source of it?

Thanks much guys for any tips!!
