I ran across this post the other day, not sure if you found anything out yet or not on any of these.
The Original 68 Charger:
Driver Tom Johannsen bought it from Al in early 1969 and repainted it purple and ran it as the "Sour Grapes" car.
Tom's son has a myspace page dedicated to the Flying Dutchman cars and his dad. He may be able to give you more info on what happened to the car after that.
