I have a challenger with power disc. The last time I drove it I noticed the pedal felt a little different as it seemed to have more travel to get the car to come to a stop. I then tried to slam on the brakes to see if the brakes would lock up, but they didn't, the car slowed to a stop, but not as fast as it used to. I checked the fluid in the MC and both resevoirs were full, but the front resevoir fluid was a milky tan color. I know there are no leaks. I was thinking at first the vacuum hose might have a leak, but the discolored fluid has me puzzled. Is the MC bad? How do you know or check to see if your MC isn't working?

Start by removing the fluid in the MC and refill it with fresh and procede to flush out the old fluid. It'll take 2 people just like bleeding brakes unless you have access to a pressure bleeder which would speed up the job. The milky fluid has water in it and will give you a spongy brake petal along with causing corrosion and leaks.
