Hope this isn't a "stupid" question ............ Can you explain the black crayon numbers on each valve cover?
It should be only on one VC, but it should be the carb number from the build sheet. That code is 3 digits in 1970. If it was the same for 1971 this should be 670 instead of just 70. It's basicly that last three digits of the carb list number.
