Maybe someone can help, I installed a floor shifter a while back, not too long ago i took the selector arm off the column, of coarse if it comes down any it won't crank, but last time out, i would push it up & still nothing, i moved the floor shifter to "P" & "N" & still nothing, i had to jump the starter relay, I thought there was a way to install a jumper wire to by-pass the safety switch, how can this be done, or is there something i can disconnect on the selector arm (column) to eliminate this problem. I thought it might be the safety switch, but its working fine now, just don't want anymore problems or have it happen again, it seems to act up at the "wrong" time .
