okay, heres why I ask. My new Hooker Comps are really close (about a 1/16") to the steering box. When the car idles, the #5 tube rattles slightly against it. I know I can't leave it like this. I could put a ding in the headers, but I want to look at all options before I do this.

What about solid mounts in a street car? or... how about a solid on just the driver side? Will this solve my problem? This is a really nice street car, and I don't want it to be obnoxiously uncomfortable to ride in. How much will it vibrate and shake? It does have a 252* solid tappet cam, so its already sorta a handful at idle.

How would you guys handle this?
