Freshened up my chokeless 850cfm TQ and re-epoxyed the jet wells as one was leaking badly. It fires easily on a hot re-start right up now after sitting for awhile. Before I had to hold throttle down to the floor and crank for a few seconds due to fuel seepage into the intake manifold. Also reset the nitrile floats to 1" and shortened the metering tree spring it seems more responsive to me.

I think I'll keep running this 35 year old carb for awhile longer.

Carb specs are #9023 TQ with 96/145 jets, #2003 rods, .032 squirters, tree height 1.5 turns with 2 coils clipped off spring, air door opening 1/2", accel pump 15/32" height, idle mix screws turned 3 turns out for a built 340-4spd-4.10 combo
