Hello all. My 68 Charger has been stalling when I brake suddenly at lower speeds (i.e., when pulling up to a red light or stop sign). If I slow down gradually everything is fine but if someone slows down in front of me really fast, for example or if I need to slow quickly at lower speeds (not squealing the tires or anything), but hard enough on the brakes, then the car starts to stall. If I don't put it in neutral and pick up the throttle to help it idle, then it begins to stall. I've checked the float levels in the carb and that's all good. Transmission is 904 auto with forward manual pattern. Front brakes have been converted to Mopar disc brakes. Anybody help with this?
