Strange my last post on how to test a gauge is gone...

Basically if you put a 73 ohm resister at wire going to the tank (disconnect it) and put the open end to ground it should show empty.

8-12 ohms should go full.

~42 should get you 1/2

if wrong it could be your voltage to the gauge, wiring issue, or the gauge itself.


Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.
