......I am considering using a '76 727 trans I just bought in my '69 Super Bee. I was told that it came out of a Chrysler, probably a New Yorker. It worked fine, the one in my Bee needs a rebuild, so I'd like to use this one if I can. The Bee will be more of a driver than anything, with a slightly warmed up 383. Several questions, one is will a fluid/filter change and front/rear seals be sufficient? The fluid looks clear and red, but it has been sitting ahwile. And should I adjust the bands? I know how now, thanks to John and my manual........my '73 Roadrunner is running great, by the way.........and I would rather do it when the pan is off, if needed. Lastly, will the once piece throttle pressure linkage work with my Bee? Thanks for your input!
