Yes. That's why the bows pretty much have to be snug (but not too snug) against the roof line. Too snug, and you run the risk of deforming the roof and/or tearing the sleeves.

Did I say it took me a day? I think it was actually a weekend...

Also, a flashlight and a paper clip that's unbent can help you locate those pesky holes for your visor, rear view mirror, dome light, and especially those coat hanger clips in the back.
You DID take pictures and/or measurements of where they were didn't you?!!!!
