Don't even get me started on parts counter guys.
With a '65 Dart that has 73-76 A body front brakes , large bolt pattern rear axles and is soon to be an R-3 / W-9 ............ I can't even explain to them what I have.
Heck....... I was replacing the rear brake line on a Mazda pick up with bulk line and unions......I showed the gal at NAPA what I had and what I wanted , then volunteered to go back and get it myself. ( I have been going to this store for nearly 20 years , but she is new )
She got all huffy and said " I'll get it " and sent me home with the wrong fitting.
So I am back there 20 minutes later and she still had to be right.
I am old enough to remember when parts guys were also car guys.
But you can't get a good car guy for 8.00 an hour anymore.
