I'm posting as the happy user of an 8 3/4.

Do you think you are pushing the limit of the 8 3/4? Big torque, stickey slicks, transbrake? If you are pushing it money and time spent on the 8 3/4 may be a waste. It will break somewhere else. Better to go with a D60. If you aren't pushing it, just leave it alone, save your money and enjoy.

Mine works fine because its a road car with road race aspirations... no first gear launches on stickey slicks required. Maybe 2'nd on an auto cross but the 8 3/4 can take that.
