Guys,

My neihbor came over today asking me how I could tell if a 70 challenger he's looking at is a real or a fake sixpack car. I went thru the usual stuff like the vin# in which both the windshield and the fender ones are missing. Next I asked about pulling the seat and looking for the build sheet,he hasnt done that yet.Since its a 4 speed car I asked if it has a Dana he said no an 8.75 which I thought were only on auto's when equipped with a hemi or 440?? Here's the question what else can he check? Dont hemi's and sixpack cars have torque boxes in front of the rear wheels? Is there any quick accurate way to tell if its the real thing??

Thanks-Gary
