Also, not all drag racers or street guys wanted the heavier, more difficult to change gear ratio danas. I'm aware of a 8.75 equipped hemi that blew the rear under warranty, a new left axle, backing plate and 3:53 gearset were installed in place of the original 3:23. 8.75's were not replaced with Dana's under warranty to my knowledge.
