I'm re-using parts from my old 2x4 Cheater kit that I ran on a tunnel ram, and purchased a plate for a single dominator. I downloaded the instructions from the NOS website to get a baseline for tuning, but noticed that they list square jetting (my previous experience I had always run larger fuel jets). My combo info is below. I recently put the car back together and have been troubleshooting miscellaneous leaks and squeaks. The car pulls solidly to the 6200 limiter, and I'm getting anxious to get it to the track and punch the button!

  • Timing, where should I start?
  • Does this square jetting sound correct or should I fatten up the fuel side?
  • What should I expect from this combo?

Nitrous: Cheater solenoids, dedicated fuel system, jetted at 68/68 (smallest jets I have)

Engine:

446, TRW 2295, OOTB EB Performers, 590 Purple Shaft, 3-circuit 1150 Dominator, M1 Single Plane, TTi 2in primaries, timing set at 34 degrees.

Car:

69 Charger, Tubbed, ladder bars, 4.30 dana, TF with a 10in converter, stalls about 4k.

as always, thanks for the help! Greg

The square jetting is the new guide line to use.

Timing is always a guess, each engine will like something different, do what nos says too then check plugs after each run.

.068 jets is around 200hp
