Did a tire salesman tell you that? Most street(not drag race radials) radails don't like burn outs I have seen a lot of successful street class racers go around the water and not do any burn out at all and still win races, round after round at the local track I guess it is one of those things that you have to try on your combination to find out what works and what doesn't I do run both the M/T ET Street Radials and the ET Street bias plys on my car, the radials are faster than the bias ply tires on a good track and not as good as the bias ply tires on a bad track




The cars that I have run with street radials seemed to like no water - a short dry burnout just to clean them off, and a light trigger foot. The hotter they got; the "greasier" they got.
