That is a ton of racing. I only put 150+ passes a year and I that is being a regular points racer. I know guys that race twice a week (basically) and they are around 300 passes a year, depending on how many rounds they win...

IMO, a stock crank is going to crack and eventually let go, and 1000 passes is way too many without a magnaflux. I think the flex hurts the block and eventually the crank breaks. But I could be wrong, the stock blocks do crack with good cranks too.
