The engine this cam is going in was rebuilt over a decade ago. The pistons look brand new (it hasn't been ran in a decade either and clearly not for long when they did run it). They are real flat top replacement pistons (0.02 over and .100 in the hole). So I won't have 10:1 compression with the head gasket I was planning on using and without a dish in the piston I'm worried one of these cams may introduce the valves to the pistons. Might have to go with the 509.
