Well, you know the old saying, "they always run faster right before they break"

We went up to make our second TT and as I'm getting ready to stage her the motor makes a funny sound and dies. I try to turn the motor over by hand and it hits something inside.

Get back to the trailer and open it up expecting to see another broken cam. Not this time, Sheared the keyway for the crank timing gear.

No sweat, make a new key and we're in buisiness right.

Wrong.

It bent the cam as well.

Luckily I had another cam and was able to get it back together and still make round 1 of the gamblers.

Well see how it runs tomorrow but it does run.
