If you will be here at 2pm, you would be better off just taking 55 all the way into St. Louis. It narrows down to 1 lane at the Poplar Street Bridge (into Illinois) but at that time of day you would only have a few minutes delay. Just stay in the right lane as you get into downtown, and slow down in case there is a backup. Once you cross the bridge, it's about 3 miles or so to Rt 203 and you are there!

255 is the long way around, but if you arrive during rush hour it may be worth it.
