I actually have a copy of the original correspondence between Maxwell and NHRA over Judy Lilly's hood scoop on her '67 Plymouth.

To say the tone of the letter is a bit terse is an understatement as Farmer (NHRA National Tech Director at the time) was not too happy with the fact her Street HEMI Belvedere I (post) had the RO/WO fresh air hood/scoop.
