I dont know if this will be considered off topic or not but let me just put this out for anyone who regularly browses the street rodders forum. I spent Friday and Saturday at the HAMB Drag Nationals and I cannot recommend this event enough. A huge variety of pre-64 cars were present representing all brands, motors and everything in between. From some very nice Max Wedge machines to some really cool hemi and flathead powered Model A's and T's. The atmosphere is very relaxed without the pretense I have seen at more traditional national events, where people are judging every car they see. And this was no Rat Rod show most of the cars were very well constructed and some made incredibly fast and entertaining runs down the quarter mile.
