take the stat out for 1 day & take her out & see how hot she gets. wont hurt things to have a slow warmup from no stat for (1) day & it will confirm/deny if it's a stat restriction problem. then I'd take the rad out & turn it upside down & spray your garden hose water nozzle in the bottom nipple(now at the top)to backflush it & see if any crud comes out & if not then the garden hose is not touching it & I'd have a rad shop boil/rod it.
