I use an old craftsman 3/4 combo wrench that I ground back side flat for better bite. Works great on big blocks, as the box can turn crank enough that the werench wedges against bottom of block between pan lip and flexplate, that it won't jump off. Once tight, back the crank up to get wrench out, then grab the next one and spin crank around till it wedges again.
