I run M/T 8.5 x 26 slicks on my Dart and it runs 11.80's in the 1/4 with no traction bars .My 60 fts are 1.65 - 1.70.I dont have tubes in them either ,but i have to air them up every few weeks .I have a freind here in town that runs 6.59 at 110 mph ,with a 1.39 60 ft in the 1/8 on the same 8.5 M/T's as mine ,but he has caltracks .BTW his car has a tiny 342 Blue Oval in it naturally aspirated with full interior .My opinon is ,yes they are good slicks...
