Quick question...does the punch card have the axle and gear ratio?

Depends on the punch card. The early ones, with the production info, do. The Quality control card does not.

Hey Doug, How ya doin ?

I think the real value in having the punch card for 68 and earlier cars is that it ties the SO number and the VIN together. So, you have a good title and VIN. We'll use my GTX for example. I also have the fender tag with the SO. No build sheet. Obviously the VIN shows the car as a 440 (L)Which as I understand was only available in the B body Plymouth as a GTX ,but who's to say some previous owner just did the dash swap on a Sattelite. If you have the punch card, it will have the SO number on it that should be stamped on your radiator support, trunk lip and fender tag. The punch card also has the VIN on it. If it all matches, in my humble opinion. You have established at least, pedigree. Not sure it is a valid point, but it helps me sleep at night......
