I have also seen this deal in action at the division three et finals somewhere in the mid to late 90,s.Rich Matty(in the fine 409) was winning a lot of big races . And i guess a few knew what he was doing, he staged for first round and 4 or 5 guys grabbed the dude with the camera and his car just sit there on the two step as the other car easily took the win. It was one of the funniest things i ever saw at the track.
