I am running a .540 solid flat tappet cam. Someone told me a little while ago that the Hughes rockers weren't that good because they weren't very consistent, but he made sure he stated that it was before their CNC program they started, so they may be better now.

I can see that there is more meat and therefore a stringer rocker (all variables thrown out as far as material differences go) but I have heard that the Harland (and Comp Cams) rockers have problems with the needle bearing races on the fulcrum in that they are kind of prone to break. I have even seen it myself in two different cases so that has scared me from Harlands, even though the cams ran were a bit larger than mine and therefore had more spring pressure put on them. Has anyone else had this problem?
