In our engine, the T&D's didn't work for some reason, the pushrods kept jumping off from the adjuster cup and usually broke something. Had to do quite a lot fo pushrod and even block clearancing too for the 1.6's. I bought a set of Harlan Sharps but haven't used them yet, did trial fit them though and they were so thick that they hit the heads next to the rocker pedestals. Seemed to be a bit too wide too, but nothing htat can't be fixed with thinner shims. Wil check thenm again next saturday. My 440-1's are pretty old, so the machine work may have changed after that.
