I need to know if this is normal. All suspension parts are new. Steering box was rebuilt about two years ago to a "level II" by firm feel. It sat for two years while the car was being worked on. Now everything is connected and I can rotate about two inches the steering collum without any movement of the steering linkage. I'll grasp the rectangular piece that goes into the steering box and I can move it by hand about two inches. In the pics line up the roll pin with the red cap, this is where the linkage starts to turn the wheeles left. In the second pic I rotated, by hand, to the right and where the roll pin is in pic #2 is when the wheeles start to turn right. Is this normal or is there too much slop in here. The steering wheel flops all over the place. When the pump is hooked up will this slop go away??
