I'll pull the sending unit (arghh), and stick it in a pan of hot water with a thermometer in the water. I'm sure I'll find that the guage / sending unit is about 120* off.

Next qustion: at this point, Is it safe to assume its the sending unit?, or could the guage be the problem?
