not a direct bolt in, you will need the lower valance that goes below the grill. Correct

Not sure if the head lights will line up or not, Also correct if my memory is right. I tried for a '76 grille in my '78 and they didn't match up.

I put a 76 Grill in a 80 truck and had to move head light buckets.

It can be done.
