Interesting opinion.

I have always had an 8 3/4 under my Cuda. Ran high 6's at that track with the 499" wedge. Have a 540 Hemi in front of it now. Drag radials always.

I rebuilt it every few years when I had it to the track regularly. But that was due to the noise on the street, not due to failure. It has been together this time for 6 years. Several thousand street miles. But not much track time. And it's still quiet.

Just my experience.
